DESERT JEEP TOURS, DEAD SEA AND PETRA

Vegetation and animals have developed unique methods of survival in such extreme conditions like lack of water, high temperatures and strong radiation.

The Dead Sea – an eternal lake that historically received water from the lower Jordan Valley river – always had high levels of evaporation, and a drop in its level of approximately 10 cm. annually. This results in serious ecological phenomena know famously as the sinkholes.

Tours to Petra and Jordan run for the duration of two days and include the spectacular Wadi Ram and the crossing along the ridge of the Moab Mountains to the Arava region in Israel. The tours are operated in modern, comfortable jeeps that allow for a wide viewing range.
